TRX Chest Press

How to do it

  1. Hold the TRX handles and face away from the anchor point, leaning forward with the body in a straight line from head to heels.
  2. Set the feet at a distance that matches the desired difficulty, further out for more load on the chest.
  3. Brace the core to keep the hips in line with the shoulders throughout the movement.
  4. Bend the elbows and lower the chest toward the hands, then press back to the start by extending through the chest and triceps.
  5. Exhale on the press away from the anchor and inhale on the lowering phase.
  6. Keep the body rigid from shoulders to ankles; a common fault is letting the hips sag or pike during the press.
