Strength exercise
TRX Face Pull
How to do it
- Set the suspension trainer straps to a mid length and grip a handle in each hand, walking your feet back until your body leans away from the anchor.
- Extend your arms fully toward the anchor point with palms facing each other and feet planted hip width apart.
- Brace your core to keep your body rigid in a straight line as you lean back against the straps.
- Pull your hands apart and back toward your face, driving the elbows wide to work the posterior deltoids while your core holds the plank position.
- Exhale as you pull in and inhale as you extend back out to the lean.
- Avoid letting your hips drop toward the floor; keep your body straight from shoulders to ankles through the pull.
