Strength exercise

TRX Face Pull

How to do it

  1. Set the suspension trainer straps to a mid length and grip a handle in each hand, walking your feet back until your body leans away from the anchor.
  2. Extend your arms fully toward the anchor point with palms facing each other and feet planted hip width apart.
  3. Brace your core to keep your body rigid in a straight line as you lean back against the straps.
  4. Pull your hands apart and back toward your face, driving the elbows wide to work the posterior deltoids while your core holds the plank position.
  5. Exhale as you pull in and inhale as you extend back out to the lean.
  6. Avoid letting your hips drop toward the floor; keep your body straight from shoulders to ankles through the pull.
