Strength exercise

Band Face Pull

How to do it

  1. Anchor the resistance band at chest height and step back until the band has tension, holding one end in each hand.
  2. Extend your arms forward with palms facing each other and feet staggered for a stable base.
  3. Brace your core and keep your chest lifted before you begin pulling.
  4. Pull the band toward your face, splitting your hands apart and driving your elbows back to work the posterior deltoids.
  5. Exhale as you pull and inhale as you slowly return to the starting extension.
  6. Avoid shrugging your shoulders toward your ears; keep them pulled down and back through the pull.
