Barbell Reverse Curl

How to do it

  1. Stand holding a loaded barbell with an overhand, palms down grip slightly wider than shoulder width.
  2. Curl the bar up toward the shoulders while keeping the wrists flat and the elbows tucked at the sides.
  3. Drive the movement through the biceps without letting the wrists break or cup upward.
  4. Squeeze briefly at the top before lowering the bar under control back to full arm extension.
  5. Exhale on the way up and inhale on the way down for each rep.
  6. Keep the torso still and avoid leaning back to sling the bar upward as the set gets harder.
