Strength exercise
Reverse Curl
How to do it
- Grip a bar with an overhand, shoulder-width grip, palms facing down toward the floor.
- Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your elbows pinned lightly against your sides.
- Curl the bar upward by bending your elbows, keeping your wrists flat and your upper arms fixed at your sides.
- Squeeze your forearms and biceps at the top without letting your wrists break or curl inward.
- Lower the bar slowly back to full arm extension, exhaling on the way up and inhaling on the way down.
- Keep your torso still throughout the set, avoiding any backward lean or swing to move the weight.
