Barbell Landmine Row

How to do it

  1. Set one end of a barbell into a landmine attachment or a corner, loading the free end with plates.
  2. Stand facing the loaded end with feet hip width apart, hinge forward from the hips, and grip the bar just under the collar with both hands.
  3. Brace the core and let the bar hang at arms length to start, keeping a flat back and soft knees.
  4. Pull the bar up toward the chest or lower ribs, driving the elbows back and squeezing the lats and biceps.
  5. Exhale as you row the bar up and inhale as you lower it back down under control.
  6. Keep the hips still throughout the pull; a common fault is jerking the torso upright to move the weight instead of rowing with the back.
