Strength exercise

TRX Row (Single Arm)

How to do it

  1. Set the suspension strap to a mid length and grip a single handle in one hand, standing facing the anchor point.
  2. Walk the feet forward until the body leans back at an angle, the free arm held out to the side or across the chest for balance.
  3. Pull the chest up and rotate slightly toward the working handle, driving the elbow back to work the lats and biceps on that side.
  4. Brace the core hard to resist the body twisting away from the working arm as it pulls.
  5. Squeeze the shoulder blade back at the top before extending the arm out under control.
  6. Complete all reps on one side before switching, exhaling on the pull and inhaling on the return.
