Strength exercise
TRX Row (High)
How to do it
- Shorten the suspension straps so the handles sit around chest height, and face the anchor point gripping a handle in each hand.
- Walk the feet forward until the body leans back at a shallow angle, arms extended toward the anchor.
- Pull the chest up toward the handles by driving the elbows back and out, working the lats and biceps at this more upright angle.
- Keep the body in a straight line from head to heels, bracing the core rather than letting the hips dip.
- Squeeze the shoulder blades together at the top before extending the arms back out under control.
- Exhale on the pull and inhale on the return, keeping the tempo smooth since this higher handle position is the easier introduction to the movement.
