Strength exercise

Toe Touch

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip width apart and a slight bend in the knees.
  2. Brace the core and hinge forward at the hips, reaching both hands toward the toes.
  3. Keep the spine long as the torso lowers, feeling the tension build through the back of the thighs.
  4. Lower only as far as control allows before the lower back begins to round.
  5. Exhale while hinging down and inhale while driving the hips forward to return upright.
  6. Rise back to standing under control, keeping the motion smooth rather than bouncing at the bottom.
