Strength exercise

Cable Pull-Through (Single Leg)

How to do it

  1. Attach a rope to a low pulley and stand facing away from the machine on one leg, with the rope between your legs and the other foot lifted slightly off the floor.
  2. Grip the rope with both hands, walk out until there is tension, and set a soft bend in the standing knee.
  3. Hinge at the hips over the standing leg, letting the rope travel back as the free leg extends behind you for balance, bracing the core throughout.
  4. Drive the hip of the standing leg forward to return upright, keeping the torso steady and avoiding twisting.
  5. Exhale as you rise and inhale as you hinge back down under control.
  6. Avoid letting the standing knee wobble side to side; keep it tracking straight throughout the hinge.
