Cable Leg Curl

How to do it

  1. Attach an ankle cuff to a low cable pulley and secure it around one ankle, facing the weight stack.
  2. Hold onto the machine frame for balance and brace the core to keep the hips level.
  3. Keep the standing leg slightly bent and the working thigh still throughout the movement.
  4. Bend the knee to curl the heel up and back toward the glutes against the cable resistance.
  5. Pause at the top, feeling the back of the thigh working, then extend the leg back down slowly.
  6. Finish all reps on one side before switching, keeping the torso upright rather than leaning into the pull.
