Strength exercise
Cable Leg Curl
How to do it
- Attach an ankle cuff to a low cable pulley and secure it around one ankle, facing the weight stack.
- Hold onto the machine frame for balance and brace the core to keep the hips level.
- Keep the standing leg slightly bent and the working thigh still throughout the movement.
- Bend the knee to curl the heel up and back toward the glutes against the cable resistance.
- Pause at the top, feeling the back of the thigh working, then extend the leg back down slowly.
- Finish all reps on one side before switching, keeping the torso upright rather than leaning into the pull.
