Cardio exercise
Swimming (Breaststroke)
How to do it
- Start face down in the water with arms extended forward and legs together.
- Sweep both arms outward and then down in a half circle, pressing through the chest and shoulders to pull the body forward.
- Bring the hands together under the chin before extending them forward again to reset the stroke.
- Draw the knees toward the hips and snap the legs outward and back together in a kick timed with the arm pull.
- Lift the head to inhale as the arms sweep in, then lower the face back into the water on the glide.
- Hold a brief glide phase after each stroke cycle before starting the next pull.
