Strength exercise

Push-up (Divebomber)

How to do it

  1. Begin in an inverted V position with the hips high and the hands and feet planted on the floor.
  2. Bend the elbows and lower the head and chest in a swooping arc close to the floor.
  3. Continue the motion forward so the hips drop and the chest rises into an extended, cobra-like position.
  4. Reverse the arc by pushing the hips back up and returning to the starting inverted V.
  5. Keep the movement continuous and fluid rather than pausing at the bottom of the arc.
  6. Exhale through the forward sweep and inhale as the hips reset back to the top position.
