Plate Shrug

How to do it

  1. Stand holding a weight plate in each hand at your sides.
  2. Pinch the plates between your fingers and thumbs.
  3. Shrug your shoulders straight up toward your ears.
  4. Squeeze your traps at the top position.
  5. Slowly lower your shoulders back down.
  6. The plate grip also works your grip strength and forearms.
