Strength exercise
Landmine Oblique Twist
How to do it
- Load one end of a barbell into a landmine attachment and grip the free end with both hands at chest height.
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and knees softly bent, arms extended in front of you.
- Brace the core and rotate the bar from one hip to the other in a controlled arc, letting the torso follow the motion.
- Keep the arms relatively straight, driving the movement by rotating through the obliques rather than the shoulders.
- Control the tempo evenly on both sides, exhaling as the bar crosses the body.
- Stop the rotation at hip height on each side rather than letting the bar drop toward the floor.
