Strength exercise

Ab Rollout

How to do it

  1. Kneel on a padded surface and grip the ab wheel handles with hands shoulder-width apart.
  2. Position the wheel directly under your shoulders with your hips stacked over your knees.
  3. Brace the core and slowly roll the wheel forward, extending your body toward a straight line without letting the hips sag.
  4. Roll out only as far as you can control while keeping the lower back flat, not arched.
  5. Pull the wheel back toward your knees by contracting the abdominals, not by yanking with the arms.
  6. Exhale on the way back in and keep the movement slow and continuous for each repetition.
