Strength exercise
Kettlebell Renegade Row
How to do it
- Place two kettlebells on the floor shoulder width apart and set up in a high plank, gripping the handles firmly.
- Set your feet wider than hip width for stability and brace your core to keep your hips level.
- Row one kettlebell up toward your ribs while pressing firmly into the floor through the opposite arm.
- Squeeze the latissimus dorsi and biceps of the working arm at the top, keeping the kettlebell handle steady rather than letting it roll.
- Exhale as you row, lower the kettlebell back to the floor under control, then repeat on the other side.
- Keep your hips level and facing the floor throughout; avoid letting the working shoulder dip as you row.
