Strength exercise
Kettlebell Push Press (Single Arm)
How to do it
- Clean one kettlebell to shoulder height and stand with feet shoulder width apart, keeping your free arm out slightly for balance.
- Dip your knees a few inches while keeping your torso upright and core braced.
- Drive through your legs and extend your hips to launch the kettlebell overhead, working the shoulders and triceps brachii.
- Lower the kettlebell back to shoulder height under control, resetting your stance before the next rep.
- Exhale as you drive and press, inhale as you lower the bell back down.
- Keep your torso from tilting toward the working side as you drive, which wastes leg power on correcting balance instead of the press.
