Strength exercise

Kettlebell Push Press (Double)

How to do it

  1. Clean two kettlebells to your shoulders and stand with feet shoulder width apart, elbows tucked in front of your ribs.
  2. Dip your knees slightly while keeping your torso upright and core braced.
  3. Drive through your legs and extend your hips to launch both kettlebells overhead, working the shoulders and triceps brachii.
  4. Lower the kettlebells back to your shoulders under control, resetting your knee dip before the next rep.
  5. Exhale as you drive and press, inhale as you lower the bells back down.
  6. Keep the dip short and quick rather than squatting deep, which turns the movement into a separate squat and press.
