High Cable Lateral Raise
How to do it
- Set a cable pulley to roughly hip height and stand side-on to the stack.
- Grasp the handle with the hand farthest from the machine, across your body.
- Keep a slight bend in your elbow and lead with the elbow as you raise.
- Lift the weight up and out to shoulder height, feeling the side delt work.
- Let your hand travel slightly past your midline at the bottom for a deep stretch.
- Lower under control and keep tension on the side delt throughout.
