Cross-Body Cable Y-Raise

How to do it

  1. Stand sideways to the cable machine with the pulley set to the lowest position.
  2. Grab the handle with the far hand, reaching across your body.
  3. Raise your arm diagonally upward and outward in a Y-shape.
  4. Control the movement and squeeze at the top.
  5. Lower the weight back with control.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions, then switch sides.
