Constant-Tension Cable Lateral Raise
How to do it
- Stand sideways to a cable machine with the pulley at the lowest position.
- Grab the handle with the far hand.
- Raise your arm out to the side with a controlled tempo.
- Maintain constant tension by never letting the weight stack touch down.
- Lower slowly without fully relaxing at the bottom.
- Focus on keeping the lateral deltoid engaged throughout.
