Strength exercise
TRX Pike Push-up
How to do it
- Place both feet into the TRX foot cradles and set the hands on the floor under the shoulders in a plank.
- Lift the hips upward into a pike position so the body forms an inverted V shape.
- Bend the elbows to lower the top of the head toward the floor between the hands.
- Press firmly through the palms to extend the arms and return to the raised pike position.
- Keep the core braced to hold the hips high rather than letting them drop back to a flat plank.
- Exhale on the press and control the tempo instead of dropping quickly into the bottom position.
