Strength exercise
TRX Hamstring Curl
How to do it
- Lie on your back with your heels settled into the suspension trainer's foot cradles and your legs extended straight toward the anchor point.
- Press your hips upward off the floor so your body forms a straight line from shoulders to heels.
- Brace your core to hold that bridged position, then bend your knees to curl your heels in toward your glutes.
- Keep your hips lifted and level throughout the curl, avoiding any sag toward the floor.
- Extend your legs back out to straight under control, exhaling as you curl in and inhaling as you extend.
- Keep your shoulders and head relaxed on the floor while your hamstrings and glutes hold the bridge.
