Strength exercise

Suitcase Carry

How to do it

  1. Stand tall holding a load in one hand at the side of the body, palm facing inward toward the thigh.
  2. Brace the core hard and resist leaning toward the loaded side, keeping both shoulders level.
  3. Grip the load firmly through the fingers to keep the forearm engaged throughout the carry.
  4. Walk forward with short, even steps, keeping the torso upright and the free arm relaxed at the side.
  5. Breathe steadily in short bursts, avoiding letting the hips shift toward the loaded side.
  6. Cover the target distance, then switch the load to the opposite hand and repeat evenly on both sides.
