Strength exercise
Stir the Pot (Stability Ball)
How to do it
- Kneel behind a stability ball and rest both forearms on top, elbows under the shoulders, legs extended behind in a plank.
- Brace the core and squeeze the glutes to keep the body in a straight line from head to heels.
- Slowly circle the forearms in a small clockwise pattern on the ball while keeping the hips still and shoulders stable.
- Reverse to circle counterclockwise for an equal count, maintaining constant tension through the abdominals.
- Breathe steadily throughout the circles rather than holding the breath as the ball moves.
- Stop and reset the plank if the hips sag or rock side to side before continuing the circles.
