Strength exercise
Seated Row Machine (Neutral Grip)
How to do it
- Sit at the row machine and attach parallel neutral grip handles, feet planted on the platform, knees softly bent.
- Grip the handles with palms facing each other and sit tall with arms fully extended.
- Row the handles back toward the torso with the elbows tracking close along the sides, working the lats, biceps, and forearm flexors through a fixed wrist position.
- Keep the shoulders down away from the ears as the handles travel back, avoiding a shrugging motion.
- Pause briefly with the shoulder blades pulled together before releasing forward.
- Return to full arm extension under control, exhaling on the pull and inhaling on the stretch.
