Seated Dumbbell Curl

How to do it

  1. Sit on the edge of a bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms hanging straight down at your sides.
  2. Keep your feet flat on the floor and your torso upright with your elbows close to your ribs.
  3. Curl both dumbbells upward at the same time, rotating your palms to face your shoulders as you rise.
  4. Squeeze your biceps at the top without letting your elbows drift forward.
  5. Lower the dumbbells slowly back to full extension, exhaling on the way up and inhaling on the way down.
  6. Keep your back against the bench, avoiding any rocking of your torso to help lift the weight.
