Strength exercise

Band Bicep Curl

How to do it

  1. Stand on the center of the resistance band with feet shoulder width apart, holding a handle in each hand.
  2. Turn your palms to face forward and let your arms hang fully extended at your sides.
  3. Brace your core and pin your elbows to your ribs before you curl.
  4. Curl both handles up toward your shoulders, squeezing the biceps at the top of the movement.
  5. Exhale on the curl up and inhale as you lower the band slowly, resisting its pull on the way down.
  6. Avoid letting the elbows drift forward or the band go slack at the top; keep tension constant throughout.
