Strength exercise
Roll-out (Stability Ball)
How to do it
- Kneel on a mat with a stability ball positioned in front of you and rest your forearms on top of it.
- Brace the core and slowly roll the ball forward by extending the arms and hips into a long line.
- Extend until the body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders without the lower back sagging.
- Pause briefly at the furthest comfortable point while keeping the ribs pulled down toward the pelvis.
- Exhale as you contract the abdominals to roll the ball back toward your knees for each repetition.
- Avoid letting the hips drop toward the floor as the ball extends away from the body.
