Strength exercise
Monster Walk (Banded)
How to do it
- Loop a resistance band around the ankles and take a slight quarter squat stance with knees pressed outward.
- Hold both hands in loose fists at chest height to keep the forearms engaged and the upper body still.
- Brace the core and step diagonally forward and out to one side, keeping tension on the band throughout.
- Follow with the trailing leg without letting the knees collapse inward or the band go slack.
- Continue stepping diagonally for the set distance, then reverse direction and repeat stepping backward.
- Keep the torso upright and breathing steady, avoiding any bouncing or rushed steps.
