Lower Back Stretch (Child's Pose)
How to do it
- Kneel on the floor with your big toes touching and knees spread wide.
- Sit your hips back toward your heels while reaching both arms forward on the floor.
- Lower your chest toward the mat and rest your forehead down.
- Sink the hips back only until you feel a stretch along the lower back and sides of the torso.
- Breathe slowly into the lower back and hold the position for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Walk the hands back and rise up slowly to release.
