Strength exercise

Leg Raises

How to do it

  1. Lie on the back with the legs extended and the hands tucked palms down beneath the glutes for support.
  2. Soften the knees slightly and press the lower back flat against the floor before beginning.
  3. Brace the core and lift both legs together in one smooth motion until they point toward the ceiling.
  4. Keep the movement continuous rather than pausing at the top, letting the core set the pace throughout.
  5. Lower the legs with control to just above the floor, then lift again immediately for the next repetition.
  6. Keep the ribs pulled down and avoid swinging the legs with momentum to gain height.
