Strength exercise

Kettlebell Curl (Single Arm)

How to do it

  1. Stand holding a kettlebell by the horn in one hand at your side with an underhand grip and your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Pin your elbow to your ribs and let the kettlebell hang at a full stretch to begin each rep.
  3. Brace your core and rest your free hand on your hip to keep your torso from twisting.
  4. Curl the kettlebell up toward your shoulder without letting your upper arm move, squeezing the biceps at the top.
  5. Exhale as you curl up and inhale as you lower the kettlebell back down slowly.
  6. Avoid leaning toward the working side or swinging the kettlebell to gain momentum.
