Kettlebell Bottom-up Carry

How to do it

  1. Clean a kettlebell to the shoulder and flip it so the bell points straight up and the base of the handle rests in the palm.
  2. Grip the handle hard with the forearm braced vertically and the wrist stacked directly under the bell to keep it balanced.
  3. Brace the core and walk forward slowly, keeping the shoulder packed down and the elbow tucked near the ribs.
  4. Keep the eyes on a fixed point ahead rather than watching the kettlebell to help maintain the balance.
  5. Breathe in short, controlled breaths while maintaining constant tension through the gripping forearm.
  6. Lower the kettlebell back to the shoulder under control if the bell starts to tip rather than muscling it back upright.
