Strength exercise

Incline Dumbbell Curl

How to do it

  1. Sit back on an incline bench set to 45 to 60 degrees, letting one dumbbell hang straight down from each fully extended arm.
  2. Keep the shoulders pinned against the bench and the upper arms still throughout the set.
  3. Curl both dumbbells up while rotating the palms to face the shoulders, isolating the biceps.
  4. Squeeze the biceps at the top without letting the elbows drift forward.
  5. Lower the dumbbells back to a full stretch over two counts.
  6. Avoid using the shoulders to swing the dumbbells up.
