Strength exercise
Incline Dumbbell Curl
How to do it
- Sit back on an incline bench set to 45 to 60 degrees, letting one dumbbell hang straight down from each fully extended arm.
- Keep the shoulders pinned against the bench and the upper arms still throughout the set.
- Curl both dumbbells up while rotating the palms to face the shoulders, isolating the biceps.
- Squeeze the biceps at the top without letting the elbows drift forward.
- Lower the dumbbells back to a full stretch over two counts.
- Avoid using the shoulders to swing the dumbbells up.
