Husafell Stone Carry

How to do it

  1. Straddle the Husafell stone with feet just outside its edges and grip both sides low against the body.
  2. Brace the core hard and drive through the legs to stand the stone up against the chest and stomach.
  3. Hug the stone tightly against the torso with both forearms wrapped around its sides to lock it in place.
  4. Walk forward with short, deliberate steps, keeping the ribs pulled down and the spine tall under the load.
  5. Breathe in a steady rhythm and keep the forearm grip locked around the stone for the full distance.
  6. Set the stone down under control at the finish line rather than dropping it forward.
