Egyptian Lateral Raise
How to do it
- Stand sideways to a cable machine holding a low cable handle.
- Lean your body away from the cable to create a greater stretch.
- Raise the cable out to the side with a slight bend in your elbow.
- Use a 2-second eccentric lowering phase.
- Focus on squeezing your lateral deltoid at the top.
- The lean creates a longer range of motion than standard lateral raises.
