Dumbbell Lat Pullover

How to do it

  1. Lie across a flat bench with your upper back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Hold a dumbbell with both hands above your chest, arms slightly bent.
  3. Lower the weight in an arc behind your head, feeling a deep stretch in the lats.
  4. Pull the weight back over your chest by engaging the lats.
  5. Keep your hips low and core braced throughout.
  6. Focus on the lat contraction rather than using the chest.
