Strength exercise
BOSU Ball Single Leg Stance
How to do it
- Stand facing a BOSU ball and step one foot up onto the center of the dome.
- Set the standing foot flat and centered, then lift the other foot slightly off the dome.
- Brace the core and fix the gaze on a stationary point to help control balance.
- Drive stability through the core and standing leg for each repetition, resisting the wobble of the dome without letting the lifted foot touch back down early.
- Breathe steadily throughout each repetition rather than holding the breath.
- Avoid letting the arch of the standing foot collapse inward as fatigue sets in.
