Tempo Standing Calf Raise

How to do it

  1. Set up in a standing calf raise machine.
  2. Raise up onto your toes with a 2-second concentric.
  3. Hold the top position for 1-2 seconds.
  4. Slowly lower your heels over 3-4 seconds.
  5. Pause at the bottom stretched position for 1-2 seconds.
  6. The prescribed tempo increases time under tension for calf growth.
