Strength exercise

Sled Push (Low Handle)

How to do it

  1. Stand behind the sled and grip the low handles near hip height, arms extended and torso leaning well forward.
  2. Set the feet staggered and drop the hips lower than the high handle version to match the steeper body angle.
  3. Drive forward with powerful strides, pushing hard through the quadriceps and glutes into the ground.
  4. Keep the core braced tightly to support the deep forward lean throughout each step.
  5. Exhale with each drive and keep the shoulders packed down so the handles stay stable at hip level.
  6. Take longer, more deliberate steps than the high handle version to keep the low body angle controlled.
