Strength exercise

Sled Push

How to do it

  1. Stand behind the sled and grip the upright handles at roughly hip to chest height with arms extended.
  2. Set the feet staggered and lean the torso forward into the handles to load tension before moving.
  3. Drive forward with powerful, driving steps, extending through the quadriceps and glutes on each stride.
  4. Keep the core braced and the back flat as you push the sled's resistance across the set distance.
  5. Exhale forcefully with each drive step and keep the arms firm rather than letting them collapse.
  6. Maintain a consistent forward lean throughout; standing too upright reduces the power of each push.
