Strength exercise
Mountain Climber (Cross Body)
How to do it
- Start in a high plank with hands under shoulders and core braced.
- Drive one knee diagonally across your body toward the opposite elbow.
- Return that foot to the plank and immediately drive the other knee across to the opposite side.
- Keep hips low and level throughout, avoiding a pike at the hips.
- Breathe in a steady rhythm that matches the crossing cadence, not holding your breath.
- Avoid letting the shoulders drift ahead of the wrists as fatigue sets in.
