High Incline Smith Machine Press

How to do it

  1. Set an adjustable bench to a high incline (around 60 degrees) inside the Smith machine.
  2. Sit back on the bench and grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Unrack the bar and lower it to your upper chest with control.
  4. Press the bar back up to full lockout.
  5. Keep your shoulder blades retracted and feet flat on the floor.
  6. Focus on driving through your shoulders and upper chest.
