Dumbbell Walking Lunge

How to do it

  1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand at your sides, gripping them firmly, and stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and step forward into a lunge, lowering the rear knee toward the floor.
  3. Press through the front heel and bring your back foot forward to step directly into the next lunge.
  4. Continue stepping forward, alternating legs with each rep while keeping your torso upright.
  5. Exhale as you press up out of each lunge and inhale as you step into the next one.
  6. A common fault is letting the torso lean forward, so keep the core braced and the grip firm on the dumbbells throughout.
