Strength exercise

Band Good Morning

How to do it

  1. Stand on the middle of a resistance band with feet hip-width apart and loop the ends over the back of your shoulders.
  2. Grip the band at your shoulders, brace the core, and set a soft bend in the knees.
  3. Hinge forward at the hips, pushing them back while keeping the spine neutral and the chest up.
  4. Lower the torso until you feel a stretch through the biceps femoris on the back of the thighs.
  5. Drive the hips forward to return to standing, squeezing the glutes and hamstrings at the top.
  6. Keep the band tension constant throughout the hinge rather than letting it go slack at the top.
