Wide Grip Pull-ups
How to do it
- Hang from the pull-up bar with an overhand grip, hands set about 1.5 times shoulder width apart.
- Brace the core and depress the shoulder blades before initiating the pull.
- Pull the body up by driving the elbows down and out to the sides, working the back muscles through a wide range.
- Bring the chest toward the bar until the chin clears it.
- Lower back down over two counts to a full hang at the bottom.
- Avoid kipping the hips to swing the body upward.
