Narrow Grip Cable Row

How to do it

  1. Sit at the cable row station and attach a narrow, close grip handle to the low pulley.
  2. Place the feet on the footplate with knees softly bent, grip the handle with palms facing each other, and sit up tall with arms extended.
  3. Pull the handle toward the lower ribs by driving the elbows straight back past the torso, engaging the back and biceps through the pull.
  4. Keep the torso upright and still throughout the movement, resisting the urge to lean back to move the weight.
  5. Pause briefly once the handle reaches the torso, squeezing the shoulder blades together.
  6. Extend the arms back to the start under control, exhaling on the pull and inhaling on the return.
