Strength exercise
Kettlebell Snatch (Double)
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and a kettlebell on the floor between the feet, one per hand.
- Hinge the hips back to grip both handles, keeping the back flat and the kettlebells close to the shins.
- Drive the hips forward explosively to extend the knees and hips, accelerating both kettlebells upward.
- Pull the kettlebells close to the body with bent elbows, then punch both arms straight overhead as they pass shoulder height.
- Receive the kettlebells locked out overhead with the wrists stacked over the shoulders and knees slightly bent.
- Lower both kettlebells back to the floor along the same path under control before the next repetition.
